Many of you don't know me that well as a person.
God Bless Each Of You.

The Lady Vikings, the girls basketball team from Taylor County High School in Butler, Georgia, won 132 consecutive games and 5 state championships. This streak occurred from the last game of 1967 to the middle of the season in 1972. The streak ranks first in Georgia and fourth nationally for consecutive wins by a girls basketball team. Lady Vikings players, managers, cheerleaders, fans, and Coach Carter are invited to write memories of the winning streak years to this blog.

If for no other reason, I am so glad we had this reunion so Trey Carter and three of his children could hear about his father and their grandfather, Norman Carter, and the impact of his success.
They were like my own children and others in attendance, who had no idea of what we accomplished back then.
I just wanted to say how much Tony and I enjoyed the celebration Saturday night. It was a top notch job and I want to thank everyone that had any part in putting it together. It was very special and will be one of those memories of a life time.
